Uniform Court Practices (UCPs): A business practice identified as critical for uniform and consistent use in all courts statewide. They are not intended to be discretionary.

UCPs are important because they:

  • Ensure clear and consistent information is being provided to court business partners and the public
  • Allow system functionality to automate core court case management functions (UCP #154 - Discharge from Probation)
  • Promote reliable and consistent statewide statistical data and reporting
  • Support operational reporting needs (UCP #152 - UA Reporting)
  • Provide clarification and consistent application of Court Rule or Statute (UCP #163 - Failure to Appear)
