The Legal Services Advisory Committee (LSAC) makes grants to legal services and alternative dispute resolution programs serving low-income clients from funds appropriated by the Legislature and a portion of attorney registration fees.  LSAC is governed by Minnesota Statutes 480.242.  This legislative appropriation funds organizations serving every county in Minnesota, representing over 50,000 low-income clients statewide in 2008. 

LSAC makes grants on a two-year cycle.  Grant applications will not be accepted again until April 2011.
