Instructions for All Users
  • Release 2011 (updated 09/26/2011): The MNCIS Odyssey (OA) user interface was updated with Release 2011 on September 23, 2011. While page locations and titles have not changed, the general look and feel has been updated, along with several icons. The icons are still located where users are used to finding them. Some icons changed in shape, for instance the Search icon is now a magnifying glass, as this is normally a more universally-known, standard symbol for search. The OA User Instructions have been updated to reflect the new look of the user interface. Should you experience any connectivity issues, contact us using our Technical Support Form. Please be aware that we will get to you as quickly as we can; however, on Monday, September 26 and Tuesday, September 27, priority support for any connectivity issues will be given to our internal court users. We appreciate your patience.
  • Internet Explorer Support (updated 10/05/2011): The current MNCIS Odyssey (OA) version (Release 2011.1) does not support Internet Explorer (IE) 9. It does support IE versions 7 or 8.  If you have IE 9 installed and are experiencing MNCIS Odyssey (OA) issues, you will need to uninstall IE 9 and install IE 8. IE 9 support is planned for the next MNCIS Odyssey (OA) version (Release 2011.9) scheduled to be implemented spring of 2012.
Instructions for Technical Staff
  • Release 2011 (updated 09/26/2011): There is a new OdySysSetup MSI package available to government agencies that will address the elevated permissions levels that were previously needed in order to receive the necessary updates whenever the courts installed a new patch or release to our MNCIS Odyssey application. Please install the OdySysSetup MSI package on all workstations that use MNCIS Odyssey Assistant (OA) before September 23, 2011. If the workstation has power user rights, you are not required to install the MSI package but it is still recommended. If the workstation does not have power user rights, to allow for a successful release upgrade process please install the MSI package. This is a one-time install.
