Supreme Court Administrative Files

The link below contains the administrative files of the Supreme Court dating back to the late 1970s.

The Supreme Court administers the rules that govern all Minnesota district and appellate courts.  In this archive are reports and petitions for rule changes.  The reports are submitted by court advisory committees and legal organizations such as the Minnesota State Bar Association.  The sets of rules include Civil, Criminal, Civil Appellate, General Rules for the District Courts, Evidence, Juvenile Delinquency, Juvenile Protection, Public Access, and the canons of conduct that govern lawyers and judges.  The Supreme Court orders that amend the rules are also in the archive, as well as rules governing the various court boards.

Beyond rules and canons of conduct, the archive also includes court task force reports and various court committee reports.

The archive is updated periodically with the most recent filings in PDF format.
