Justice Lillehaug elected to prestigious organization

Justice David Lillehaug of the Minnesota Supreme Court has been elected as an Honorary Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL). The ACCL is an elite group of 200 members from 37 states and five nations. 
 
In the 26-year history of the organization, Justice Lillehaug is only the second judge to be accorded the honor, and the first from the United States. 
 
During his lengthy career in private practice, Justice Lillehaug was prominent in the Minnesota and national construction bars. He was the founding chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Construction Law Section.
 
Lillehaug was appointed to the Supreme Court by Governor Mark Dayton in 2013 and was elected to a full six-year term in 2014.
