Court Holidays

The Minnesota State Courts are open on Columbus Day
Although the courts are open, the day is considered a legal holiday under Commandeur LLC v. Howard Hartry, Inc., 724 N.W.2d 508 (Minn. 2006). All deadlines falling on Columbus Day, are extended to the following day.

Court of Appeals opinions will be released on Columbus Day.
