Public Data Requests
The public may access certain raw data and data summaries from the MN Judicial Branch. See the MN Rules of Public Access to Records of the Judicial Branch. Management of state court records is governed by the Records Retention Schedule and the law at MN Statute § 138.17 on keeping and destroying public records.

MN Pubilc Access (MPA) Remote is the public, online version of the MN Court Information System (MNCIS). NOTE: Online records do NOT include confidential information or pre-conviction criminal information. Some information is only available at Court Record Center locations.

Case Filing & Disposition Data Summaries
The MN Judicial Branch publishes annual reports with some statistics of case filings and dispositions.

We try to respond to requests within three (3) court business days. If you want data about a court other than the 4th District, please contact the MN Judicial Branch Court Information Office.
