The Rice County Courthouse is located just west of downtown Faribault, at the intersection of Highway 60 and Third Street Northwest. Public parking is available in the lot on the west side of the courthouse, as well as on the street.

The Court Administrator's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The county observes the following holidays: New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Veteran's Day; Thanksgiving Day and the day after; and Christmas Day.
