The Minnesota Supreme Court Announces Vacancies for Attorney and Judge Members on the Rules of Criminal Procedure Advisory Committee

The Supreme Court is seeking to fill four vacancies for attorney and judge members on the Rules of Criminal Procedure Advisory Committee.  The vacancies are for a city prosecutor, a county attorney or assistant county attorney, a private defense attorney, and a judge.  The committee meets as needed and is responsible for monitoring the rules and hearing and accepting comments for further changes.  The current vacancies are for three-year terms ending on December 31, 2023.
 
All applicants interested in appointment must submit a letter of interest and resume.  In addition, attorney applicants must include a screen print from the Minnesota Attorney Registration System (MARS) http://mars.courts.state.mn.us/ demonstrating an active Minnesota attorney license.
