The Minnesota Supreme Court Announces Vacancies on the Advisory Committee for the Rules of Civil Procedure

The Supreme Court is seeking to fill multiple vacancies on the Advisory Committee for the Rules of Civil Procedure.  Up to 7 vacant positions on the committee will be filled with new appointments.  The committee is responsible for monitoring the rules and recommending further changes, and is expected to undertake a review of some rule provisions in early 2022.  The vacancies are for three-year terms beginning no later than July 1, 2022, and ending on June 30, 2025.  All members are eligible for reappointment to a second term.  The court invites applications from judges, attorneys, and district court administration supervisors or managers interested in serving on this committee. 
 
Applicants interested in becoming a member of the committee must send a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae to Christa Rutherford-Block, Clerk of the Appellate Courts, via e-mail at mjcappellateclerkofcourt@courts.state.mn.us Applications must be received no later than 4:30 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
