COVID-19 Information

The courthouse public service counter and public access terminals (courthouse terminals) are open from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Every person entering a court facility must wear a face covering at all times while in public areas, hallways, or other common areas of the facility effective July 13, 2020 (Order Requiring Face Coverings at Court Facilities dated July 7, 2020).   If you do not have a face covering see court security or court staff immediately upon entry.  If you are required to visit a court facility but have COVID-19 symptoms or have had COVID-19 exposure in the last 14 days contact the court or your attorney as soon as possible.

You will be required to follow Minnesota Department of Health social distancing guidelines while in the courthouse.

Remote hearings will continue to take place and Self-Help Center services will continue to be conducted by phone and email only.

If you have a court case scheduled in Washington County District Court, call (651) 430-6263 Option 0 to determine if your case will be heard or scheduled to a future date. You may also contact the court by email and use the dropdown menu to select the appropriate county.

Please consider if your business can be transacted remotely; if so, you are encouraged to try to access the courts remotely and avoid coming to the courthouse when possible (email, fax, US mail, drop box available at courthouse).
