The Minnesota Judicial Branch will be providing a CLE presentation entitled “What You Need to Know about the New Juvenile Protection Rules.” This program will cover a new version of the Juvenile Protection Rules that will go into effect on September 1. While these amended rules have the same content, they have been revised to simplify and facilitate their use, and to track Minnesota’s statutory scheme. The Juvenile Protection Rules have also been amended to be consistent with updated laws and regulations related to the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA).
Recommended Audience for This Training
Attorneys, Guardians ad Litem and Social Workers that practice in juvenile protection matters. Judicial officers and court staff that are unable to attend internal MJB training are encouraged to attend.

This CLE is being given in several locations across the state in August and September
An application for 1 hour of CLE credit has been submitted for attending this course. This CLE will be provided free of charge. No registration is required.
