The Second Judicial District is Seeking Volunteers for its Family Court Limited Scope Attorney Program

Ramsey County Family Court is seeking volunteer attorneys for the Family Court Limited Scope Attorney Program.

Through the program, the Court will assign pro bono attorneys to represent a party only in an ADR process without becoming counsel of record. The purpose of the program is to provide limited legal representation to a qualifying pro se individual during the settlement process only. Attorneys are not responsible for drafting pleadings or stipulations and will not bring motions or try cases.

Attorneys must be in good standing with the Minnesota Bar Association, have a minimum of three years of family law experience, and must be able to provide verification of current malpractice insurance.
