This message is for all Jurors whose term began on Thursday January 2, 2020:  As ordered by the Minnesota Supreme Court in response to the current pandemic, there will be no jury trials prior to April 22, 2020.  If you have been summoned for jury service during this time, you are not required to report right now.  If your service is needed, you will receive written notice when trials start again.  You must still complete your Juror Questionnaire according to the instructions on your summons. We thank you in advance for completing your Questionnaire online if you are able.  Further information can be found on the State Juror Sevice webpage.

If you have any questions, or if special accommodations are needed during your jury service, please call the jury commissioner at (507) 237-4058 during our office hours, which are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Minnesota law requires that you serve as a juror if qualified.  You may be guilty of a crime if you fail to show up for jury service  as directed per Minnesota Statutes Chapter 593.  Thank you for your service!
