Supreme Court Seeks Trial and Appellate Judges for the Rules of Evidence Advisory Committee

The Supreme Court is reconstituting the Rules of Evidence Advisory Committee and is seeking trial and appellate judges to serve as members.
 
The Rules of Evidence Advisory Committee is responsible for reviewing potential rule amendments, and making recommendations to the Supreme Court concerning additions, deletions, or modifications to the Minnesota Rules of Evidence.  Committee members must be able to participate in meetings as scheduled.  Term of service is limited to three years, renewable at the discretion of the Court for an additional term. Former members of the committee who are eligible for reappointment and are interested in serving again are encouraged to apply.
 
Judges interested in becoming a member of the committee should send a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae to Christa Rutherford-Block, Clerk of the Appellate Courts, 305 Minnesota Judicial Center, 25 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55155 or via email to mjcappellateclerkofcourt@courts.state.mn.us Applications must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
