Anoka, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Pine, Sherburne, Washington and Wright Counties
Parents involved in contested custody or parenting time cases must complete a parent education class. In all other proceedings involving custody, support, or parenting time, the court has discretion to order the parents to attend a parent education class. Unless otherwise ordered by the court, parents must begin participation in a parent education class before the Initial Case Management Conference and within 30 days after the first filing in the case or as soon as practicable given the availability of classes.
