Eighth Judicial District Celebrates 55th Treatment Court Graduate

The Eighth Judicial District is celebrating its 55th Treatment Court graduate following 581 days in the program.

Karen joined Drug Court in March 2025 and completed 38 review hearings and at least 161 urinalysis tests during her time in the program as she worked toward recovery and building a stable future.

The program also requires participants to complete volunteer services in their communities. The 50-hour service requirement represents more than $27,000 in community service value to Kandiyohi and Meeker counties. Many graduates continue volunteering after completing the program.

Treatment Court officials report that 70% of Central Assignment Area graduates have not been convicted of a serious crime since graduation.
