Gunderson Named State Court Information Officer

ST. PAUL, MN. (March 31, 1999) – Valerie Gunderson has been named Court Information Officer, a position responsible for planning and implementation of communications, media relations and community outreach programs for the state court system.
She succeeds Lani Jordan, who has taken a position with Cenex Harvest States Cooperatives.
Gunderson previously served as Press Secretary and Deputy Press Secretary to former Governor Arne Carlson. For nearly a decade prior to that appointment, she worked at radio stations in Bismarck and Fargo, North Dakota.
A Minneapolis resident, Gunderson earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Moorhead State University. She begins her position today.
