The Minnesota Supreme Court is looking for a passionate trial-level public defender to fill a three-year term on the Rules of Criminal Procedure Advisory Committee.

  • Your Voice Matters – The Committee hears public comments and steers reforms that impact every courtroom in Minnesota.
  • Flexibility – Meetings are convened “as needed,” allowing you to balance this volunteer opportunity with your practice.

Who We’re Looking For

 

  • A Minnesota‑licensed attorney with solid trial experience who is currently serving as a public defender.
  • Someone who thrives on collaboration, critical analysis, and improving the justice system.
