Speaking of Courts community listening session to be held at Simley High School on February 11

The First Judicial District, in partnership with TriDistrict Community Education, is hosting a community listening session entitled, “Speaking of Courts.” Community members with experience with the Dakota County District Court system are encouraged to attend and share their perspectives. This event is an opportunity for people to voice concerns, share suggestions, and help the courts understand the court experience of community members. Spanish and Somali language interpreters will be at this event to assist attendees. First Judicial District staff will overview recent efforts the District has been undertaking.

The free event includes a meal, general information about the Dakota County District Court, and small group discussions. Those who plan to attend are asked, but not required, to pre-register so event planners can ensure appropriate seating and accommodations for all.
