Questions and Answers

1. Would the agency consider an active Secret-level security clearance for a proposed resource as fulfilling the requirement for a criminal background check?

While an active Secret-level security clearance includes a background investigation, it does not fulfill the requirement for a criminal background check under this Statement of Work. As outlined in the SOW, the vendor must initiate and provide a criminal background check prior to onboarding. Additionally, the Minnesota Judicial Branch conducts its own background check in accordance with their internal policies.
