Supreme Court Cancels January 15, 2013, Hearing to Consider Petition of Board of Public Defense

The Minnesota Board of Public Defense filed a petition requesting the Supreme Court extend until June 30, 2015, the temporary lawyer registration fee increase authorized by Court order filed Nov. 4, 2009, and renewed by order on Mar. 2, 2011.
The Jan. 15, 2013, hearing to consider the petition to extend the public defender portion of the fee has been canceled as the petition has been dismissed.
