Supreme Court Opinion Release Changed to Wednesdays


Beginning on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, the Minnesota Supreme Court will issue opinions on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. CST/CDT.  Opinions have previously been released on Thursdays.

Minnesota Supreme Court opinions can be found on the Judicial Branch Website, www.mncourts.gov, by clicking the “Find Court Records” tab at the top of the home page.  An additional link for “This Week’s Opinions” appears on the lower portion of the home page.  Printed copies of Supreme Court opinions may be obtained at the office of the Clerk of Appellate Courts, 305 Minnesota Judicial Center, 25 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul, 55155, after the Wednesday release time.  Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

On the opinions Web page, interested parties can sign up to receive email alerts or text messages when new opinions are released. 

There will be no change in the schedule for notifying parties about when an opinion in their case is going to be released.  For more information about the opinion release policy, visit http://www.mncourts.gov/?page=231.
