The Minnesota Supreme Court Announces a Vacancy on the Advisory Committee for the General Rules of Practice for the District Courts


The Supreme Court is filling a vacancy on the Advisory Committee for the General Rules of Practice for the District Courts. Given the committee’s current composition, applicants with court administration experience are encouraged to apply. The committee is responsible for monitoring and recommending changes to the rules. The vacancy is for a partial term beginning immediately and ending on December 31, 2026. All members are eligible for reappointment to a second term.
 
Applicants interested in becoming a member of the committee must send a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae to Christa Rutherford-Block, Clerk of the Appellate Courts, via e-mail at mjcappellateclerkofcourt@courts.state.mn.us no later than 4:30 pm on Friday, April 18, 2025.
