Email to Registered Filers re: July 1, 2016 Mandatory eFiling Deadline

Starting July 1, 2016, eFiling and eService will be mandatory for attorneys, government agencies, and Guardians ad Litem when filing and serving documents in all case types statewide. Minn. Gen. R. Prac. 14.01(c); Minn. R. Crim. P. 1.06, subd. 2. If no exception applies and the judge has not authorized paper filing, documents submitted on paper, on or after July 1, 2016, will be returned to the filer with instructions to resubmit the document(s) electronically as required.

- Read and keep a copy of the eFS Registered User Guide and the Fast Facts: Getting Started with eFile and eServe (eFS) available.
- Register and attend the one-hour, live WebEx eFiling and eService training sessions.
- After attending a training session, set-up your organization’s profile in the eFS system.
- Refer to the eFS Internet Browser Compatibility Overview when setting up your firm.
