Interview Requests

  • Media should contact the Court Information Office with requests to interview Minnesota Judicial Branch staff or judicial officers. Do not contact judges or staff directly.

NOTE: Minnesota judicial officers cannot speak about pending cases, and many will not speak about past cases over which they have presided.

Rule 2.10 of the Minnesota Code of Judicial Conduct states: “A judge shall not make any public statement that might reasonably be expected to affect the outcome or impair the fairness of a matter pending or impending in any court.”
  • In addition to scheduling interviews, CIO staff can provide background information and data related to the interview topic.
