What a Conciliation Court Summons means
Receiving a Summons means that you are being sued; you are the defendant in the case. You should prepare for a hearing. You may file a Conciliation Court counterclaim if you feel the plaintiff owes you money.
If you ignore the Summons and do not appear on the scheduled hearing date, a default judgment may be entered against you, ordering you to pay the amount determined by the Referee.
