The Ramsey County District Court Judges will offer weddings for couples who wish to get married on Valentine’s Eve. District Court Judges have volunteered to perform free marriage ceremonies at the Ramsey County Kellogg Courthouse, 15 West Kellogg Boulevard, St. Paul, Minnesota in the Lower-Level Conference Room 40 on Friday, February 13, 2026, between 12:00-1:15 p.m.
Couples who are interested in having a judge officiate a Valentine’s Eve marriage ceremony must complete this registration form (one per couple please).
*Interested couples must also obtain a valid marriage license (NOTE: there will be a cost associated with the marriage license - only the ceremony is free) from any County Recorder’s Office in Minnesota (Ramsey County Vital Records Office) prior to the day of the marriage ceremony. You must bring the marriage license and return envelope provided to you, along with one US postage stamp on February 13, 2026.
Registration will be taken on a first come first serve basis and will open be until February 9, 2026 or until capacity is met.
Beware of Jury Scams
Please be aware that if you miss jury service the court will never ask a law enforcement officer to do the following over the phone:
- collect a fine from you,
- collect personal information,
- or serve a warrant
Scammers are spoofing law enforcement phone numbers, so if you are unsure, hang up and call the law enforcement agency directly.
If you receive a suspicious phone call of this nature, hang up, and promptly report the call your local Sheriff's Office.
