First Judicial District

First Judicial District Administration is an administrative office overseeing the district courts in the First District. This office does not hear any cases. Court proceedings happen in the specific district courts that serve each county. For case-specific questions, please contact the district court in the county in which your case is filed. Links to the district courts are listed by county in the Overview Tab below.

Central Assignment

The Central Assignment Office coordinates calendar activities and scheduling proceedings for the seven counties of the First Judicial District. The mission of the Central Assignment office is to maintain efficient and effective case flow management and to assist in providing justice through a system that assures equal access for the fair and timely resolution of cases and controversies.
