Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes are alternative methods of helping people resolve legal problems before going to court. ADR involves an independent third person, called a "neutral" who tries to help resolve or narrow the areas of conflict.

Training Certification & Resources

This page contains petitions for sponsors seeking training certification and approved training courses that may be used for qualification on the Rule 114 ADR Roster. To be eligible for placement on the Rule 114 ADR Roster, individuals must take an ADR training certified through the State Court Administrator's Office. After completing the certified training course, individuals must apply for the Rule 114 ADR Roster within one year of course completion.

The Minnesota Judicial Branch does not endorse, recommend, or make any guarantees of the quality of any particular trainer or training program due to their inclusion on the Certified Rule 114 ADR Trainings or ADR Training Frequent Sponsor List.
