If you have an order or other instructions from the court about how to send exhibits, you must follow those instructions.
If you do not have an order or other instructions from the court that say otherwise, you must submit your exhibits electronically using the Minnesota Digital Exhibit System (MNDES). MNDES is a way to share digital exhibits with the court and the other parties in a case for evidentiary hearings or trials without the need for physical copies. For more information about MNDES and to register for a MNDES account, go to the Minnesota Digital Exhibit System (MNDES) page on the Evidence and Exhibits Help Topic.
You must also send the exhibits to other parties involved in your case. If you have the other party’s email address or phone number that can receive texts, you can use MNDES to share your exhibits with them. If you don’t have this contact information, you can share your exhibits with the other party using first class mail or by giving them the exhibits in person.
You must submit your exhibits to the court and share them with the other party at least 3 days before the hearing.
