Summit on Improving the Court and Community Response to those with Mental Illness in Minnesota

The Summit is open by invitation to statewide justice partners who are engaged in collaborative efforts aimed at improving system responses to individuals with mental illness.

In-Person Summit

June 20-21, 2022, DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington-Minneapolis
This in-person gathering will include plenary presentations focused on applying the Sequential Intercept Model at each intercept, local action team meetings, and a panel presentation from Minnesotans with lived experience.

Virtual Summit Kick-off

March 31, 2022, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The kick-off gathering will include welcoming remarks from Chief Justice Lorie Gildea and Commissioner Jodi Harpstead, plenary presentations, and time for local action teams to meet.

Virtual Workshop for Local Action Teams

May 6, 2022, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
This training, presented by Justice Christopher M. Goff, Indiana Supreme Court and Rick Schwermer, Utah State Court Administrator (retired) is open to local action teams. The training will cover the Sequential Intercept Model and present resources and tools.
