Parking
Public parking around the courthouse, in the parking lot in front of the security building or the parking lot directly across the street from the courthouse. Please do NOT park in the parking lot across the street from the security building.
Security Screening
Please do NOT bring any item that could be used as a weapon to any courthouse. Those items will not be allowed in areas beyond screening checkpoints, and illegal weapons will be confiscated. There may be a line at a security checkpoint, so please allow yourself enough time to get to the courthouse.Reporting Instructions
You will receive jury orientation the first day you are instructed to report for jury duty. You must call the juror information line at (507) 432-7004 every weekend and follow the instructions in the message.
Personal Items and Your Phone
- Cell phones are not allowed in the courthouse.
- Magazines and reading material, other than newspapers, are allowed.
- Laptop computers or tablets are not allowed.
- Please keep in mind that there are security measures similar to airport screening. Do not bring sharp objects such as scissors, corkscrews or knitting needles as they may be confiscated.
