Parking
There is a metered parking ramp located between 4th Avenue West and Mesaba Avenue on 3rd street behind the courthouse. The ramp is connect to the courthouse via a skywalk. Please use your juror parking pass to park free of charge in the parking ramp. Do not park in any spaces marked reserved.
Security Screening
Please do NOT bring any item that could be used as a weapon to any courthouse. Those items will not be allowed, and illegal weapons will be confiscated.
Reporting Instructions
St. Louis County has a 2-week jury term. However, this does not mean that you will need to serve each day during your term.
You must call the Jury Information Line, (218) 726-2552, every weeknight after 5:00 p.m. beginning on the Friday before your term begins to obtain reporting instructions for that coming Monday. When calling, please have your group number ready. When jurors are instructed to report, they will be listed by group number only. No individual names will be listed. The group number is located next to the bar code number on the bottom portion of your summons. If you do not have your summons, please call (218) 221-7560 Option #2 to obtain your group number. Failure to call or appear may result in you being found in contempt of court.
First Day: report to the 4th floor jury lounge of the courthouse.
Second and Subsequent Days: instruction will be given prior to leaving on the previous day.
Personal Items and Your Phone
- Cell phones are allowed in the jury assembly room. However, if you are called to a courtroom, you must be sure to turn off your cell phone.
- Magazines and other reading material are permitted.
- Laptop computers or tablets: There is wireless internet in the jury assembly room and electrical outlets for your use.
- Please keep in mind that there are security measures similar to airport screening. Do not bring sharp objects such as scissors, corkscrews or knitting needles as they may be confiscated.
