Parking is available in the North Parking Lot.

Security Screening

Please do NOT bring any item that could be used as a weapon to any courthouse. Those items will not be allowed in areas beyond screening checkpoints, and illegal weapons will be confiscated. There may be a line at a security checkpoint, so please allow yourself enough time to get to the courthouse.

Reporting Instructions

First Day: begin calling the Juror Reporting Information phone number, (218) 274-6007 Option #2, after 5:00 p.m. the night before your service begins.Please listen to the entire message and follow the instructions. You are required to call this number as instructed during your one month of service. When jurors are instructed to report, they will be listed by group number only. No names will be listed. If your group number is called, report directly to the jury lounge on the second floor of the courthouse no later than the time indicated in the jury message.
Second and Subsequent Days: at Judge’s discretion.

Personal Items and Your Phone

  • Cell phones are allowed in the jury assembly room. However, if you are called to a courtroom, you must be sure to turn off your cell phone.
  • Magazines and other reading material are permitted.
  • Laptop computers or tablets: There is wireless internet in the jury assembly room and electrical outlets for your use.
