Parking

Public parking is available in the law enforcement lot to the right of the courthouse, in the courthouse lot to the left of the courthouse. Street parking is also available in front and back of the courthouse.

Security Screening

Please do NOT bring any item that could be used as a weapon to any courthouse. Those items will not be allowed in areas beyond screening checkpoints, and illegal weapons will be confiscated. There may be a line at a security checkpoint, so please allow yourself enough time to get to the courthouse.

Reporting Instructions

First Day: jurors are to call the Winona Juror line after 4:30 p.m. for reporting instructions for the following Monday during their term of jury service.
Second and Subsequent Days: jurors serving on a jury will be instructed by the presiding judge as to reporting requirements on second and subsequent days. All jurors are to call the Jury Information line every Thursday after 4:30 p.m. for reporting instructions for the following Monday during their term of service.

Personal Items and Your Phone

  • Cell phones are allowed in the jury assembly room. However, if you are called to a courtroom, you must be sure to turn off your cell phone.
  • Magazines and other reading material are permitted.
  • Laptop computers or tablets: there is wireless internet in the jury assembly room and electrical outlets for your use.
  • Please keep in mind that there are security measures similar to airport screening. Do not bring sharp objects such as scissors, corkscrews or knitting needles as they may be confiscated.
