The public parking lot is located at the front of the Justice center at 3700 Braddock Avenue NE, Buffalo, MN. All parking is free.
Security Screening
Please do NOT bring any item that could be used as a weapon to any courthouse. Those items will not be allowed in areas beyond screening checkpoints, and illegal weapons will be confiscated. There may be a line at a security checkpoint, so please allow yourself enough time to get to the courthouse.
Snacks and beverages are allowed in the jury assembly room. There are vending machines with snacks and beverages in the jury assembly room.
Reporting Instructions
Wright County utilizes a phone-in system to inform jurors when to report for service. Prospective jurors are assigned a 3-digit call-in group number, found on their summons and are instructed to call the Wright County Jury Phone–In System at (763) 760-6295 after 5 p.m. on the Friday prior to their jury start date and each business day thereafter. This 3-digit call-in group number will be used to find out if, when, and how to report for a trial. If called in to report for jury service, please report to the Wright County Courthouse at 3700 Braddock Avenue NE, Suite 1100, in Buffalo.Jury service terms in Wright County are two weeks in length. If serving on a trial that lasts longer, jurors are required to serve until the trial concludes. Jurors must continue to call the Wright County Jury Phone-In System at (763) 760-6295 during their jury service term for service instructions.
Normal hours for jurors are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Personal Items and Your Phone
- Cell phones are allowed in the jury assembly room. However, if you are called to a courtroom, you must be sure to turn off your cell phone.
- Books, magazines and other reading material are allowed in the jury assembly room.
- Laptop computers or tablets: There is wireless internet in the jury assembly room and limited electrical outlets for your use.
- Secured lockers are available for your use.
- If you do not normally need to hire a daycare provider but had to hire one today to report for jury duty, you may be entitled to some reimbursement. Reimbursement forms can be found on MNCourts.gov/Jurors. Select the After the Trial tab. Reimbursement forms must be returned to the Wright County Court Administrator’s office no later than 21 days after the last day of your term of service.
- You can get a Service Work Certificate to provide to your employer on the After the Trial tab. You will need to know your juror identification number and date of birth.
