For Amendments to Court Rules changes made in 2021:
In 2021 attorneys from the State Court Administrator's Office, Legal Counsel Division, provided a training opportunity to discuss amendments to Minnesota's court rules, most of which took effect on January 1, 2021. The purpose of these rule changes are to expand administrative rejection of documents when filers fail to separate public and non-public information, create a universal cover sheet for non-public documents, and accelerate the administrative striking process if court administration see non-public information in a public court filing.

On Wednesday, April 22, the Minnesota Supreme Court promulgated amendments to the Minnesota Rules of Court, which govern court proceedings and access to court records in the state. The amendments were effective July 1, 2015.
