Parking

Parking is available in the large lot off of Hwy 23 by the Courts Facility Building. You will enter through the main doors on the south side of the building; there is a security check through that entrance.

Security Screening

Please do NOT bring any item that could be used as a weapon to any courthouse. Those items will not be allowed in areas beyond screening checkpoints, and illegal weapons will be confiscated. There may be a line at a security checkpoint, so please allow yourself enough time to get to the courthouse.

Reporting Instructions

First Day: Check in with security, they will direct you to the jury assembly room. Once there, please sign your name on the jury roster so we can verify your attendance. Further instructions will be given by the bailiff or court staff.
Second and Subsequent Days: This process will be the same as the first day reporting unless you have received different instructions from court staff or the bailiff.

Personal Items and Your Phone

  • Cell phones are allowed in the jury assembly room. However, cell phones are not allowed in court. Benton County has lockers to store phones and personal belongings.
  • Magazines and other reading material are permitted.
  • Laptop computers or tablets: There is wireless internet in the jury assembly room and electrical outlets for your use. No electronic devices will be allowed in the courtroom.  Lockers are provided to store personal belongings including laptops or tablets.
  • Please keep in mind that there are security measures similar to airport screening. Do not bring sharp objects such as scissors, corkscrews or knitting needles as they may be confiscated.
